Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The first bodies built for Rochdale Corporation Transport by Pennine Coachcraft Ltd. were handed over this month to Mr. J. P. Procter, general manager at Rochdale. They have been built on four AEC Swift 16ft 6in. wheelbase chassis and have an overall length of about 33ft.

Metal-framed construction has been employed with panelling in alloy, while the BET-style front and rear domes are of glassreinforced plastics. The buses seat 47

passengers and have a front entrance/exit, the doors being controlled by selection of the sixth position on the gear change lever —thus preventing them from opening or re

maining open while the bus is in motion.

Seat upholstery is of blue hide with sky blue Formica on the rear face of the seat backs. All interior panelling is of plastics while an interesting feature is the provision of glazed panels in the roof coves. Externally the buses are finished in cream and blue.
