• Police in Leicester have issued a warning to truck drivers after there was a spate of HGV thefts in the city.
Ten trucks and their loads have disappeared from the city centre in the past month—and police say many of the drivers made it easy for the thieves by leaving the keys in the ignition.
"The fact that there doe seem to be a pattern to types of vehicle or loads te suggests opportunist thiev says a police spokesman.
"It takes no time to take keys out of the cab and loci, he adds. "Don't be left I faced because you didn't the time to lock up."
