I was interested to see one of our vans represented in the article on "Design livery" (CM, iNovember 12). Your comment that on looking at the Rentokil van one's first thought concerns the significance of thi "30" in the roundel seems to imply a criticism, whereas in fact that particular item was a temporary transfer announcing our new 30-year guarantee and was therefore expected to attract attention to it. It does not constitute a normal part of the Rentokil livery.
