• Devon villagers were moved from their homes after about 300 litres of heating fuel leaked from a road tanker. The spillage happened at Rockbeare. near Exeter, when the driver noticed a leak from a split hose. Some 20 homes were evacuated and a cordon Set up around the spillage. The leaking tanker was carrying 2,000 litres of fuel.
