• Contracts have been placed by Chrysler (UK) Ltd and British Leyland for the supply by Rockwell-Thompson Ltd of heavy-duty axle housings. The housings will be for Chrysler's Walk-thru series and British Leyland vehicles built at Bathgate.
Rockwell-Thompson Ltd, of Wolverhampton, recently became part of the Rockwell International Corporation of the USA.
