Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THREE front-steering axles and three rear-driving axles will be exhibited by Kirkstall Forge Engineering, Ltd., at the Commercial Motor Show. Two of the front axles are of an entirely new design and the three rears, which are from the concern's 20,000-1b. range, will incorporate casings manufactured by a new method of submerged-arc welding. The brake gears on the five models are also to a new .design giving increased lining areas.

The front axles have load capacities of 9,000 and 11,000 lb. The first is intended for medium weight goods and light passenger vehicles; whilst the heavier unit is designed for maXimurn capacity four-, sixand eight-wheel vehicles and the heavier single-decker passenger vehicles. Basic design of the two axles is similar but the brake sizes on the 9.000-lb. unit are 15.5 in. x 4.25.in. and 15.5 in, x Sin. on the 11,000-11). axle. In both cases camoperation is employed, with screw-type adjusters on the camshaft levers. The third front axle being shown is a 14,000-1b. capacity unit Main differences between the three rear axles are that on one the drive is by worm, the second has primary, reduction by spiral bevel gears, and secondary reduction by double helical spur gears whilst on the third design, primary reduction is by spiral bevel and the secondary reduction is by epicyclic hub gearing. All three have 15.5 in. x 7 in. cam brakes with scissors adjusters on the camshafts.
