• A South Wales haulage business went up for sale last week after its directors appointed administrators to sell the business as a going concern. Pontypridd-based Cosslett (Contractors) runs more than a dozen commercial vehicles on contracts amounting to around £2m turnover each year.
Also up for grabs is a three-acre long-leasehold workshop, yard and office at Pontypridd.
Although administrator Clark & Cox admits the company as a whole has suffered financial difficulties, he hopes to sell the operation as a single entity. The majority of its 10.8m turnover is civil engineering business.
