THE Western Traffic Commissioners have granted permission to Gloucester Corporation to continue the operation of one-man buses on certain routes. The
Transport and General Workers' Union submitted that, in the interests of the public and the drivers, the provision of conductors was necessary. The Commissioners granted the application, but the matter will be reconsidered in a year's time.
