Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Tm writing in response to your story last week "Turks save on wages", and in particular on the matter of waiting money.

I am an owner-driver running into Turkey and I'm going under because my rates are being squeezed. I've already lost one truck to a finance company. But there are Turks out there driving brand new trucks with some of the best trailers around and undercutting British drivers' rates by the equivalent of hundreds of pounds. I don't know how they're doing it, Some Turkish firms are making things difficult as well. They are pushing me, and others I know, to sign away my waiting money. They often charge extortionate rates to load my trailer and keep me waiting longer than necessary.

It's getting so bad I'm thinking of switching to work in Italy, where I hear there's good work at the moment.
