DAVID TURNER becomes manager of the Argos central distribution centre at Daventry. He was previously parts operations manager with Seddon Atkinson at Preston.
Mr Turner served his apprenticeship in production engineering with Centrex of Newton Abbot, and later joined British Bakeries.
He joined United Builders' Merchants at Bristol after three years and became its warehouse operations manager. He moved to Gwent where he took over as warehouse manager for Hymac, excavator manufacturers, and worked subsequently with Seddon Atkinson. Mr Turner succeeds John Hampson, who is now distribution manager.
