PRICED at £2,115, a new lightweight luxury coach body has been produced by Charles H. Roe, Ltd., Crossgates, Leeds. Known as the Dalesman, it weighs 2 tons 12 cwt., including extras, and it is estimated that the gross weight of a coach with 41 passengers would be 8 tons 16 cwt. 3 qr.
The main pillars are reinforced with steel and eight Quicktho full-drop windows awe fitted. There is ,a sliding door in he centre of the near side. Panelling is in light alloy and seat frames are of tubular steel. Ventilation is by means of two Roe-Vac units and Perspex roof panels. At the rear is a large luggage 47000t.
