AN appeal has been lodged by the Special Traffics Division (Pickfords), British Road Services, against the grant by the Northern Licensing Authority to Siddle C. Cook, Ltd., Consett, a a B licence for a low-loading tractor-trailer outfit. The application was opposed by the Railway Executive and Pickfords (The Commercial Motor, September 25) The Railway Executive have not appealed.

It is understood that an early date has been fixed for the hearing.
