NEWS of a £5m. factory which being built for the assembly c Commer and Karrier vehicles, wt given by Sir William Rootes whe announcing the new Commer 25-cw van and 9-cwt. pick-up in .London th week.
The new factory, which is planne solely for the assembly of chassis, near Dunstable and the present facto] at Luton will continue to make con ponent parts. It is understood thi commercial-vehicle engines will be bui in the Rootes factory at Ryton, nec Coventry.
