FURIOUS OPERATORS in Ireland are expected to protest over plans to prevent trucks driving in Dublin's city centre.

IRLIAspokesman Liam Brewer says it has not yet been decided if it will be a rolling protest or a parking protest, but it is likely to be held at the South Port within days.

Dublin City Council is propos ing severe restrictions after the opening of the €700m Dublin Port Tunnel this year. In as little as three years' time the ban could expand from five-axle vehicles to four.
