• Low-cost stainless steel exhaust systems for light commercials took a step nearer on Tuesday with the introduction in London of a range of systems for private cars. Produced by Grundy (Teddington) Ltd, Somerset Road, Teddington, Middx, the new systems cost less than twice the cost of conventional exhausts, yet are guaranteed for the vehicle's life.
Directors of the company said this week that the range would be extended to cover car-derived vans and other light commercials within six months.
