Welcome to Laurie Dealer's used truck of the week. Each week our man inside the used truck trade picks out a truck or trailer from CM's online classified list. This week it's a Daf XF105
Laurie Dealer's top used truck this week is a 2011-registered Daf XF105 tractor.
It is a 60-plate truck on a 6x2 configuration. The engine is a 12.9-litre Euro-5, which produces 460hp and 2,300Nm torque. This particular truck is fitted with the ZF 16-speed manual transmission.
Inside there's a heated driver's seat and a leather trim, a fridge and an aluminium-effect rim. On the outside are a sliding fifth-wheel and a single 480-litre fuel tank.

The numbers of XF105s can give way to the belief that they are 10 a penny, but don't be fooled. What saves the XF105 from puncturing its own balloon is that it achieves the holy grail of being all things to all hauliers; it is a flagship wagon that doesn't cost the earth.
