The inquiry into the unnamed company began last week when Dover Customs officials found 89kg of heroin stuffed in the vehicle's wind deflector.

The Turkish driver, 34-year-old Durmas Yamakoglu, has appeared before Dover magistrates charged with attempting to import drugs. The vehicle was carrying a load of pottery from Romania.
