AWe presume you intend to use a caravan
built on a semi-trailer for private purposes. If this is correct then no special licence would be required and you would be able to pay excise duty at the present private car rate of El 7 10s a year.
Similarly, the only restrictions that would apply as to construction would be that the overall length should not exceed 42ft 7fin., nor should the overall width exceed 8ft 2-+in,
