OPERATED from the 12-volt vehicle battery is an American-designed winch, easily fitted to any vehicle as the connections are purely electrical. Capable of handling loads up to 6,000 lb., the winch has duplicated controls permitting use inside or . outside the vehicle. It is driven by a modified starter through 136 to 1 gearing and a spline and pinion clutch. A friction brake and governor on the armature prevent accidental back spinning. Roller fairleads permit handling at all angles up to 180 deg.

Winch drum capacities: 100 ft. of in. cable, or 150 ft. of A in. cable, or 200 ft. of in. cable. Recommended is A in. cable. Castings are of hardened aluminium and

weight is 105 lb.
