sentatives of employers, Government departments, trade unions and other organizations to settle the vexed ques,

operators and the Minister. His statement in the House of Commons (see
this page) may be taken as a firm indication that he is seriously considering using his powers to increase the speed limit if agreement cannot be reached within the industry.
