Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A T least three manufacturers of heavy commercial vehicles have now decided to exhibit at the British Motor Show, to he held in New York from April 15-23 next year. Others may also have determined to do so, but their names are not known by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.

This bold step has been taken, although in the past such manufacturers have not had mitch encouragement to enter their products into the competitive North American market. Now, however, they . are making efforts to produce vehicles which will interest American operators, and in particular intend to stress the superiority of the British oil engine. It may thus be assumed that well-known proprietary oil engines will be shown at New York, as well as engines normally associated in this country with chassis by the same manufacturer. •

So far as' is known at present, the A..E.C., Daimler and Leyland companies will be exhibiting at the Show. leylahd Motors, Ltd., will feature' piwiticts from its Canadian factory, as well as under-floor and vertical engines. It is understood that the Comet chassis willalso.be. shown, having become popular in, Canada in the past few

months. •
