Oil giant BP is continuing to ;all down its bulk fuel operaow in the OK with the sale of vo depots in the South-West Takao° as part of a costMing programme.
Negotiations over the sale of 3cottish bulk fuel operation are also said to be close to completion. The move comes despite BP's recent announcement of £5.58bn overall profits.
Twenty four staff at the Yeovil and Yelland sites. including 20 drivers and 12 vehicles, have been transferred to Texaco. A BP spokesman says the deal is on the "same basis" as the sale in May of BP's SouthEast bulk fuel operation to 011.
