BRS, the 1.1K's largest manufacturer-owned rental fleet, has been approved to the new 1509001: 2000 quality standard by Lloyd's Register of Quality Assurance (LRQA) as part of its ongoing drive to improve customer service and operational efficiency. The company was previously approved to the 1994 standard but opted to go for the revised standard as part of a wide ranging investment and fleet renewal programme that will see up to 1,500 new BRS vehicles on the UK's roads over the next 18 months.
