• Whale Tankers will launch a powered version of its demounting system for municipal bodies at the Institute of Waste Management exhibition in Torquay Dn 16-18 June.
The new system suits gritters, gulley emptiers, jetters and three-way tippers. It uses pneumatic power to raise the bodywork which is held in the raised position on lightweight legs, allowing the truck chassis to be iriven away for other duties.
