• Agreement has been reached between the Road Haulage Association and the British Shippers' Council on a basis for deciding whether a shipper or a haulier should make the vehicle appointment for the delivery at the docks.
In the case of a groupage load, it is agreed that the haulier must be responsible for the booking at each point of off-loading. When the haulier plans to deliver a single full load or consignment to the docks, the two parties must reach agreement between them beforehand.
