Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

concern expressed by Mr CB Ward of Ward Associates at the apparent anomaly created by recent changes in the definition of international journeys by unaccompanied trailers (CM 15/11/86).

The Road Traffic (Carriage of Dangerous Substances in Packages) Regulations 1986 are due to be published within the next few weeks. These new regulations will affect the road transport of packaged dangerous goods within the UK considerably.

I feel confident that when published they will cover the apparent anomaly and may well exceed the requirements for 'normal' ADR journeys. J Piddington Director Hazchem Signs Edgware, Middlesex
