DERV SURVEY • Next month, the technical committee of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers is once again conducting a winter diesel fuel survey, and samples are needed to cover a range of brands and different operator locations throughout the country.

Hauliers interested in taking part should draw a two-litre sample of dery into a clean container in December and send or deliver it to: London Transport Research Laboratory, 566 Chiswick High Road, London W4 5RR. For the attention of Mr D. McNaught.

Samples should be marked with their brand, date drawn, drawn by, location, company name and telephone number.
