Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Using two different drawbar configurations has allowed BICC to streamline its distribution in the South of England.

BICC has added two 127kW (170hp) Cummins VS-powered Ford Cargo 1117 3.07m chassis to bring its fleet of rigids up to 20.

Each is fitted with Abel Uniswop pneumatic-lift demount equipment that accommodates a 4.9m body. Two smaller swop bodies are also carried on a York drawbar skeletal trailer.

Added flexibility is provided by using two shorter, Abelequipped trailers with centrally mounted tandem bogies, each able to carry one of the standard Abel box bodies.

These can be hitched if necessary to B1CC's older fixed-bodied trucks using VBG couplings.

From Wan-ington, an 18m drawbar trunks three boxes each night to a stockless outbase in Birmingham, where three Cargo 1011 chassis collect them the following day for delivery to the Midlands.
