FOUR dump trucks and 19 power and transmission units are being exhibited by the special products diviSion of the Leyland Motor Corporation at Expomat —the French. International Exhibition of Public ,Works and Building equipment at Le Bourget,Paris, which opened yesterday.
Representing three companies within the Corporation, the fciur dump trucks are exhibited with bodies.ranging'in capacity from 8 to 14 cu. yd. An Albion Super Reiver tipper chassis is eqUipped with a 9.8-cu.-yd., French-built Monoversor body and also equipped with a Monoversor tipper body-of 13-cul.yd. capacity—is a Leyland. Hippo. Two dump trucks from Scanimell. are -a Mountaineer and a -Himalayan. Units featured include Leyland 0.00 and 0.680 engines, Leyland and Albion gearboxes and automatic and remote-controlled transmission units from Self Changing Gears Ltd.
