REAR VIEW • Talkback is a device developed to enable drivers to display messages to other road users. Any one of 12 messages can be displayed by pressing a button on a dashboard-mounted unit which can be preprogrammed with individuallytailored messages. The system is powered from a 12V negative-earth supply; its infra-red control unit is powered by a PP3 battery. Talkback is supplied with a full fixing kit and costs around £70 (inc VAT).
