BRITISH versions of Mits bishi's 3.5-tonne GVW Ca ter light truck — due to go sale before the end of the ye — will be assembled in It land by MMC Commerch of Dublin.
MMC already builds f Canter and a range of Mits bishi commercials up to 3 tonne GCW tractive units f the Irish market, from cor pletely knocked-down ki (CKD) supplied from Japan.
UK Canter models w also be assembled from CK kits, but according to MM general manager Sam Synot they will also have "son local content"..
MMC has revealed that will supply the 48kW (64hi 2.3-litre diesel engined FB model, which is also sold the Netherlands (see p39), Colt.
CM understands that hopes to start selling the Fa either late in 1986 or in ear 1987.
