PERHAPS we were a little hard on Foster Tachographs' Tachotalk training video (CM .February I) in pointing out that the drivers' hours legislation changes in eight months' time. In fact, only two brief 'sequences relate to the legislation that will change and "these sequences can be covered by changing the appropriate section of the driver's notes which accompany each copy of the video," say the company.
The overall aim of the Tachotalk video is to show thi pitfalls and benefits of tachograph legislation and to explain tachograph operation in a clear, practical way.
