THE 1967 edition of The Motor Industry of Great Britain, published by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Ltd., is now available. It is issued free to members on request; extra copies are £2 2s or, for nonmembers, £2 15s, from SMMT Ltd., Statistical Department, Forbes House, Halkin Street, London, SW1.

The publication shows that more than 438,700 commercial vehicles were produced in the UK in 1966, a drop of more than 20,000 units from the previous year, but bus and coach production was a record 24,231 units.

Britain was again the largest commercial vehicle exporter in 1966, with 165,924 units.

Total new registrations of goods vehicles in Great Britain in 1966 was 227,233, the lowest figure for three years.
