Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

EWER Pick-A-Back fork trucks L which are designed for carrying on vehicles are to be introduced into this country from Germany by Pragmatic Ltd., of Yeovil Road, Slough.

No encroachment is made on load space as the truck is mounted at the rear of the vehicle and lifts itself in seconds to its transporting position. A mast tilt of 6deg to front and rear simplifies the operation.

The Ewer Pick-A-Back is steered by a tiller, offering good manoeuvrability. Large diameter wheels aid stability over kerbs or rough surfaces and with an overall height of 6ft 7in. most doorways in commercial premises can be negotiated. Two 12V traction batteries with a capacity of 165 amp/ hour or four 6V batteries with a capacity of 129 amp/hour can be specified. The 165 amp/hour model will pick up a pallet carrying almost 1 ton and transport it to a site 35 yards away in two minutes.

Assuming an average journey length of 12 yards per load cycle, it is claimed that the Pick-A-Back can unload 200 pallets weighing 0.5 tons each.

Alternatively it can load and unload some 60 such pallets before any battery re-charge is necessary. If desired the Pick-A-Back can be recharged in transit if the carrying vehicle is equipped with an alternator.

Price of the equipment complete with hitching attachments is £1,200. Pragmatic is to provide a comprehensive after sales service.
