RHA and other trade support has been given to a campaign in Edinburgh to secure priority for building an Edinburgh ring route to divert heavy traffic from the city centre. Estimated cost of the route : £33m.
Fifty separate interests are pressing for planning to be initiated even if construction cannot be tackled at this stag Transport Action Scotian composed of transport indu try interests, is also supportir the Edinburgh Outer Bypa: Campaign.
Lothian Region is ti authority which will have 1 decide whether priority given.
