THERE will be three additional rounds of the Lorry Driver of the Year Competition, making a total of 15. A new centre has been 'established at Newcastle upon Tyne, where the contest will be held on July 24. There will be another tound in Liverpool, the date of which has not yet been fixed.

The Coventry round has now been fixed for July 3. Proceedings will start at Pool Meadow Car Park, Coventry, at 9 a.m. Maneeuvring tests will take pia& at the Massey-Ferguson car park, Banner Lane, Coventry.

At a meeting in London last week, it was confirmed that the Stepney round would be held at Victoria Park, London. E.9, on July 24. It is not now expected that entries will have to be limited in number: entries of teams of three vehicles will be welcomed. Forms are available from Mr. R. Waite, Road Haulage Association, 62 Oxford Street, London, W.I.

July 24 is the provisional date also of the Plymouth round, to be held at Raglan Barracks, The clashing of dates is an unfortunate circumstance which the national organizing committee have tried in vain to avoid.
