UNION THREATEN OBJECTION THE Transport and General Workers' Union are resisting a plan by Wallasey Transport Department to reduce the waiting time between the arrival of evening ferry boats at the Seacombe landing stage and the departure of the corresponding buses.

A Union official said that if they were not given a written guarantee that the scheme would be abandoned, they would oppose, before the North Western Traffic commissioners, any application made by the corporation to amend the schedules.
