is the Bottle Van, based on a Citroen 2CV engine and chassis unit. Assembled by the Bottle Van Company of Blackburn, Lancs. The design is claimed to be adaptable to any bottled product from "the humblest relish to the finest champagne".
The Hawk's only regret is that Bushy's, which pioneered the eccentric vehicle's use, does not have its undoubtedly excellent beer available on the mainland. An amphibious version would really put the message in a bottle — in fact, it would be corking.
