Leyland Exhibits in Mexico: Two Leyland diesel engines complete with gearboxes are being shown on a Leyland Motor Corporation stand at the British Industrial Exhibition in Mexico, which opened on October 19. The engines are a 90 h.p. LeylandAlbion EN.335 diesel and 125 h.p. Leyland 0.400 diesel with 5-speed constant mesh gearbox.

Now it's Kenning Car Mart: Since Car Mart Ltd. was integrated with the Kenning Motor Group in 1962, the company has continued to operate with the same policies and management, but it is now felt that material advantages can be achieved by linking the names of the two companies. In. future, therefore, Car Mart Ltd. will be known as Kenning Car Mart Ltd.

Four Constructors for Burma: The Burmese Government has just taken delivery of the first of four 6 x 6 Scammell Constructor units. Two of the units are 30-ton 25 ft. wheelbase oilfield trucks fitted with .Rolls-Royce C.6 NFL 6-cylinder diesel engines with a Scammell oilfield body, heavy duty tail roller and gin poles. A Woodfield Senior Winch with a pull of 60,000 lb. is fitted. The other two vehicles are 15 ft. 9 in. wheelbase trucks supplied with 35-ton 1(4-bed semi-trailers with 25 ft. bed length.

£40,000 Export Orders for York: New export orders worth nearly £40,000 are announced by York Trailer Co. Ltd., Corby. One is the biggest single order yet received by York from Finland. Worth more than £22,000 it covers the supply of singleand tandemaxle suspension units, trailer axles and fifth wheel couplers. Penrith By-pass: Work starts soon on the £7,713,564, eight-mile-long Penrith by-pass, first stage of extending the M6 northwards from Carnforth, near Lancaster, to Carlisle. The by-pass, which will relieve much of the congestion on. the A6 through Penrith, should be completed by the end of 1968.

AA Severn Bridge Leaflet: A special Severn Bridge leaflet has been published by the Automobile Association. Main feature of the leaflet is a map—with the bridge as the centrepiece—of the area bounded by Hay-on-Wye, Evesham, Warminster, Bridgwater and Cardiff. The leaflet which pinpoints AA offices, call points and patrol points, and lists telephone numbers for recorded local weather forecasts, is available free to AA members only from any AA office.

More Leylands for India: New orders worth more than £210,000 have been received from two State transport undertakings by Leyland Motors' vehicle producing associates in India, Ashok Leyland Ltd., of Madras, for Leyland Comet single-deckers. Kerala State Road Transport Corporation has ordered a further 50 long-wheelbase models to add to its fleet of more than 400 Leyland Comets. Assam State Transport, which has 75 Leyland Comets, has ordered a further 15 long-wheelbase Comets.
