Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

both the Bedford KB26 and Revised front-end styling includes a new grille and rectangular headlamps. Although the basic petrol and diesel power units are retained for the pickups, a five-speed gearbox — with an overdrive top ratio — is standard. This combination, it is claimed, gives improved fuel consumption figures for the KB26 — up to 10 per cent for petrol engined models and 12 per cent on diesel variants.

The new gearbox is still controlled by a column change and the ratios are now: 1st 4.697, 2nd 2.841, 3rd 1.629, 4th 1.0, and 5th 0.888 to 1.

On the 4x4 KB41 the same changes have been made to both petrol and diesel but an extra noise reduction kit has been added. Automatic free wheeling hubs on this model are now standard to avoid the need to switch them out manually when using two-wheel drive only.

Prices for the revised vehicles are: E4,053 for the KB26 petrol, £4,699 for the diesel and E5,217 and £5,861 for the petrol and diesel KB41 respectively. Supplies of the vehicles are already on their way to Britain and will be available soon to order.

Supplies of the vehicle dried up because there was a minimal quota (the KB range is built by lsuzu in Japan). This year the company expects to sell up to 2,000 KBs out of a total market of between 12,000 and 13,000 vehicles.
