• SuperTech International is marketing an electronic trailer lock/seal device via its UK subsidiary Newmark Technology of Redhill, Sun-ey.
Smart Lock, which is sold in large numbers in the US, can be mounted permanently to the rear doors or supplied as a padlock. It contains an encrypted security code and opens using an electronic key that also carries full event data.
The key coding can be relayed to a destination point via the telephone line.
