• The Spanish Government has restructured the package involving the sale of 80% of its state-owned truck producer, Enasa, to Daimler-Benz and MAN, which was opposed by the German Cartel Office and the EC earlier this month on the grounds it would create a monopoly.
The new proposals recommend creating an Enasa holding company, which Daimler-Benz and MAN would buy jointly.
