The number of sailings between Tilbury and Rotterdam has been increased from two to three per week.

Three sailings per week to Antwerp were introduced in April of last year. There has been an increase of more than .60 per cent in the first quarter of 1963 compared with the same period last year, in the number of unit loads carrying freight via the Transport Ferry Service to and from the Continent, and the extra sailing has been inaugurated to cope with this ever-increasing volume of traffic.

Mr. Michael K. Bustard, general manager of the Transport Ferry Service, said: "The demand from industry in the U.K. and in the E.E.C. and E.F.T.A. countries has necessitated this increase in
