IT is announced that a meeting beltween the Transport and General Workers Union and municipal authorities is likely to be held shortlyto consider a national agreementfor provincial bus operatives. The bus companies have also been invited to take part, but, it is understood, have not yet accepted. Area agreements with the companies with which the Union is now negotiating may be necessary.
