Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE MEDIUM-CAPACITY motor coach has definitely established itself as a profitable type of passenger.

carrying vehicle, and particularly has this proved to be the case in the opening and, closing parts of the season, when the amount of traffic which is offering is often of small proportions. Such a vehicle, the first cost of which is not excessively high, should prove an ideal type for operation, by the man with limited means, who might well follow the example of Miss Doncaster, who is shown at the wheel of a 14-seater Thornycroft motor coach in an illustration of the vehicle which we publish on this page.

This enterprising owner has had many years'. experience of driving different types of motorcars and heavy vehicles, and she personally selected the new Thornycroft Patrician motor coachfor the purpose of running pleasure tours in the Island of Jersey.

The vehicle, which has an extremely smart appearance, has been in service since Easter and has a.ttracted considerable notice from residents and holiday makers. Miss Doncaster's is a singlehanded enterprise, for she is managing her own traffic arrangements, besides driving and attending to the upkeep of the vehicle.

The type of vehicle which this owner is running is eminently suitable for use en the narrow, winding roads of Jersey,. since it can be very easily controlled. As the surfaces of the road over which it :runs are somewhat loose, it was deemed advisable to fit solid tyres to this vehicle in preference to the pneumatic tyres, and detachable wheel equipment, which are standard far this particular model.
