Ironically, Daewoo's Polish operation was LDV's partner during the irAal development of the Maxus, before the Korean parent company went bankrupt. Avia will re-badge and market the British-built Maxus in a number of European countries; the deal is expected to be operational by the end of this year.

Although the number of vehicles involved has yet to be agreed, [t should help to close the gap between the number of vans LDV needs to build and the number it can realistically expect to sell at home.
