Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

which have analogue tachographs, with Euro-4 digitach-equipped vehicles. I've heard about digital tachographs giving false readings. Is there any truth in this, and if so is there anything I can do to avoid it?

Digital tachographs don't give 'false readings, but they do round up to the nearest minute. The impact this has will depend on what type of work you carry out.

If you are doing a lot of long-distance runs, you will hardly notice it but if you handle a lot of multi-drop work, the reading of your drivers' total hours at the end of the week might be significantly increased.

This problem has been widely reported; trade associations including the RHA are lobbying for a change.
