• The following roadworks will cause delays during the following week. Cilfs roadworks is compiled with the help of the AA, and the Department of Transport. Ml Hertfordshire Between junction 8 and 9 a contraflow system will operate (Hemel Hempstead-Harpenden) with an 80kmili (50mph) speed limit,
M1 Bedfordshire Severe delays can be expected at junction 11 (Dunstable) where the junction is being reconstructed. This work is due to be finished at the end of this numth.
Ml Nottinghamshire Between junctions 27 and 28 f Mansfield and Derby) reconstruction work will cause contraflow working and the occasional closure of the two junctions for three months.
MI South Yorkshire Delays can be expected between junctions 31 and 33 (Worksop and Sheffield Central) because of work on this section that will continue till October.
M2 Kent Major work between junction 5 and 7 (Sittingbourne and Faversham) continues until December.
M4 Berkshire Between junctions 8 and 9 and on junction 10 (Maidenhead and Reading/A329M) work on the central reservation barrier will continue until early October.
M4 London There will be a night time closure on the M4 between junctions 2 and 3 (A4 and Feltham) starting on September 23 between 9.30pm and 6.30am Tuesdays to Saturdays inclusive.
M5 Hereford and Worcester Between junctions 4 and 7 (A36/Bromsgrove, Droit wich, A44/Worcester) there will be closures on both carriageways over varying distances. Contraflows will operate until October 11.
M5 Somerset Repairs between junctions 24 and 25 (Bridgwater and Taunton) will last until October.
M6 Lancashire Between junctions 32 and 33 (M55/Blackpool and Atii Lancaster) the northbound carriageway will be closed. Delays can be expected on the southbound contraflow system that will operate until October.
M6 West Midlands Work is being done between junctions 4 and 5 (National Exhibition Centre and Sutton Coldfield). MI I. Essex Delays continue at peak times on junction 3 (Redbridge Spur) and will confine until at least December. M20 Kent Carriageway reconstruction between junctions 7 and 8 (A249/Maidstone, and A20/Maidstone) means contraflow working will last until November.
M25 Hertfordshire There are lane closures between junctions 18 and 19 (Hunton Bridge) and road repairs at junctions 24 and 25 (Potters Bar and Enfield). M40 Oxfordshire Severe delays are predicted at peak times due.. to lane closures on both carriageways near junctions 6 and? (Watlington and Wallingford).
AIM Durham Contrallow working on the southbound carriageway at Bowburn Interchange is caused by the northbound carriageway being closed for bridge painting.
