Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Park Royal Vehicles Ltd., Abbey Road, Park Royal, London, NW10

TWO very interesting double-deckers are shown by Park Royal on this stand. Both are designed for o-m-o and have front entrances, central exits and centrally mounted stairs. One of the buses is an example of a new standard design introduced by the Park Royal Group for oneman double-deckers of about 33ft overall length and is mounted on an 18ft 61n. wheelbase Leyland Atlantean chassis; it is one of a batch for Sheffield City Transport.

The actual length is 32ft 10.75in. including front bumper—the bumper being a new innovation for British rear-engirted, front entrance double-deckers. Seating capacity is 79, with 32 seats in the lower saloon and 47 in the upper. A forward ascending staircase of semi-spiral type is located opposite the exit and incorporates a passenger counting device. Other equipment includes a "bus stopping" sign in each saloon. The framework of the bus is mainly of aluminium alloy with steel side-pillars extending in one piece up to upper saloon waist level.

A chance to examine the new o-m-o double-deckers for Manchester City Transport is provided by the second exhibit, a 73-seater on 16ft 9in. wheelbase Daimler Fleetline chassis. The overall length is 31ft 4fin. and the body is of aluminiumalloy framework built to Manchester design. A rearward ascending semi-spiral staircase incorporating a passenger counter is fitted opposite the exit. Equipment includes Smiths 1500 automatically-controlled heating in each saloon.
