FEATURE exhibit on this stand, a Sheppard Meiller 14,000 Mk. II bulk-handling unit is based on a Foden eight-wheeled chassis and is equipped with an 11 cu.yd. demolitionwaste container, containers of up 10 22 cu.yd. capacity being also available for this type of unit.

A Sheppard Meiller 8000 Mk. II handling unit is shown on a Bedford KMR 15-ton g.v.w. chassis/cab. The standard Sheppard 10 cu.yd. closed container has a carrying capacity of 8 tons 2-cwt, the maximum lifting capacity of the system being 9 tons 7cwt.

One of the company's S type range, a 600S, is exhibited in the demonstration park, mounted on a Commer VCAW 841 chassis/ cab rated at 13 tons g.v.w. The vehicle has a carrying capacity of 7 tons 1-1-cwt. and will be used for handling scrap metal.
